Netflix has seen major success in previous years with Halloween movies. For example, 2020's Hubie Halloween was the most popular movie of the year on the streaming platform. It seems they are following a similar formula for The Curse Of Bridge Hollow by mixing laughs with spooks. The Curse Of Bridge Hollow also marks Ferguson's first starring role in a feature-length film. However, Netflix has stiff competition in the streaming world this fall as Disney+'s highly-anticipated sequel Hocus Pocus 2 will hit their service a few weeks prior to Bridge Hollow's release. Only time will tell if The Curse Of Bridge Hollow can beat out Hubie Halloween and the attention given to Hocus Pocus 2 tobecome Netflix's newest Halloween hit.
